Goodbye Lullaby is the fourth studio album from singer-songwriter Lavigne Canada in April. The album was released March 2, 2011 for RCA Records (Sony Music). Records began in November 2008 and took place over a period of two years, concluding in October 2010. The album contains songs mostly scraped instruments such as piano and acoustic guitar.
Each song on the album are written by Lavigne, with half of the album is written with co-authors. So far, the album topped the charts in Japan, Australia, Germany, Greece, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Czech Republic and made his debut inside the top 5 in over 15 countries that the U.S. and Canada. The first single from the album "what the hell", was released January 7, 2011 and reached Top 20 in U.S. Top 10 in Europe and Australia and Asia Top 5. The album also contains an extended version of the only soundtrack for the film 2010-Alice in Wonderland, titled "Alice".
